Matt Owen

Playwright

Matt Owen grew up in Seattle, and has a BFA in Theater from the Boston Conservatory.   He has performed in Regional theaters in seattle and across the country.  In New York, he has performed Off-Broadway, and in the NYC Fringe Festival.

 Matt has had the opportunity to perform with many Broadway/Television names including Fred Willard, Judy Kaye, Dee Hoty, Christopher Sieber, and Patti Cohenour, Michael Winters, and Bronson Pinchot. 

In the spring of 2007, Matt relocated to Los Angeles, where he and roommate Chris Laxamana started Angry Dragon Pictures, currently producing the hit web series EVERY OTHER WEDNESDAY.

Jesca Prudencio is a theater director and designer based in New York City.  Recent directing credits include Traces of Eruption and Where the Heart (The Movement Theatre Company), and A Play for an All White Stage (Old Vic Theatre) as a 2010 directing recipient for the TS Eliot US/UK Exchange. Jesca has a BFA from NYU where she directed The Magic Cave of Salamanca, INFANCY, and BFE. She also directed original musicals Balik Puso and The Flipside both written and produced by the International Filipino Association.  She is the Production Associate at Ping Chong & Company where she has assisted Ping Chong on various projects such as The Devil You Know and Throne of Blood.

Burt Grinstead graduated from the American Academy of Dramatic Arts in New York City. His favorite roles include Mitch in Physical, Albert in Ladies in Retirement, Mark Antony in Julius Ceasar, Hal Carter in The Picnic, and Thisbe in A Midsummer Night's Dream. Burt is extremely excited to be working with such a talented group of artists.  He would like to thank his awesome and supportive family for all their hopes, dreams, and prayers.

John Jalandoni is a native New Yorker. Design credits include: Bash, Little Women, The Rock Garden, Shooting Gallery and the North American premiere of Bintou.   He is currently the studio assistant for Scenic Designer Julia Noulin- Mérat. Assistant credits include Tender, Penelope of Ithaca, Elixir of Love. John will graduate from NYU Tisch School of the Arts Tech Track program with a focus in scenic design in the spring of 2011.

Jennifer Fisher is happy to be working with Dalliance Theater again, after previously designing Refractions and Who Is Jordan Bishop? for the company. Jennifer is a Freelance Craft Artisan/Milliner for various theatrical productions around the city.

T. As director, credits include: And She Said, He Said, I Said Yes with Eric Louie (Joe's Pub); Taming of the Shrew (Old Vic New Voices), M. A graduate of NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts, he is currently the associate producer to Broadway producer Margo Lion, the manager for The American Associates of The Old Vic, the managing consultant to Wicked Japan for The Araca Group, and has consulted for Universal Studios: Japan.

Yusuke Namiki was born in 1985 and grew up in East Los Angeles. He has been a DJ since the 9th grade and began making beats in 11th. He moved to NYC at 17 to study education and philosophy at NYU. Currently, he is a special-ed teacher and recording artist in NYC. He has been creating music for film, live performances and theater with many talented people. He particularly enjoyed Bintou, She's Sleep and Finding God in China. Thanks to Mom, Dad, Sis, Dev, Ben, Matt, and Gi. Shout out to Nosaj Thing and crew!

Jennifer Tchiakpe was born and raised in Paris, France. She has studied theater and Stage Combat at HB Studio, Atlantic Acting School and SITI Company.  Jennifer is also a proud member of Samurai Sword Soul, a Japanese sword fighting company, with whom she has been performing since 2006. Her credits include: Films: Illusion by Lamia Alami; Homecoming by Miriam Agwai; Public Hearing by James N. Kienitz Wilkins; Wake by Nick Spaventa, Dave Sainte & John Shaner; Zone by Jade Hemsi; Ichi by Christian Borja (as actor and fight choreographer). Patrick Garrigan is pleased to continue his involvement with Dalliance on Girl in the Park.  Patrick currently serves as the Senior Account Director with the nontraditional marketing and production company, the michael alan group. He is the co-author of "Guerrilla Marketing for Dummies."  Patrick has contributed articles for Event Marketer Magazine and Medipost, and served as a guest lecturer at the Laboratory Institute of Merchandising.  As a writer, Patrick's first piece, Measured, Objective Reporting was produced as part of Dalliance's wildly successful collaborative play, Who is Jordan Bishop?  He is also on the editorial staff of TheaterOnline.com and writes a weekly comedy blog, greatness-with-gumption.blogspot.com.  He holds a BFA from Syracuse University, and is a member of Actors Equity.
